Oatmeal with cream and maple syrup, fresh blueberries and bran bits


I cannot reccomend enough making a small pot of steel cut oatmeal and reheating a little each day. On the box of McCann's Steel-cut Irish Oatmeal there is a short cut method of bringing 4 cups of water to a boil, adding a cup of oats, turning off the heat and let soak overnight. This cuts out the rather laborious long cooking time of steel-cut oats.
